Lutonwebs would like to inform all its clients and customers, that it is moving all its operations to a new server provider. The existing contract with our datacentre client was becoming to expensive to maintain, and recent performance had declined. We fealt that we were unable to provide the level of service we aim to give our customers and as a result have ceased all operations with our current provider. Statuary 1 months notice had been given to our client on the 18th April, terminating our contract with our current provider on the 18th May.

Between the 18th April and 28th April Lutonwebs had begun to transfer customers domains and websites to our new provider. Roughly %50 of sites had been migrated, with our biggest clients taking priority. However during the eve of 28th April, due to a technical hitch with our current provider, our contract was terminated in error due to the incorrect termination date being keyed into there system. Instead of the 18th being keyed in the 28th was entered, and as a result the system terminated our contract, all our data was wiped from the datacentre.

The remaining 50% of customers sites have in this case been deleted and all information has been lost. Where clients have purchased our backup service, all your data is safe and your site should now be back up and running with our new host. For those clients who did not take advantage of our backup service, Lutonwebs would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Lutonwebs is pursuing action against the affected datacentre, and will update all customers of our progress.

Once Lutonwebs started the migration process to our new host, due to cheaper running costs, and a greater scope of services we are able to provide. Lutonwebs is pleased to announce to all existing clients & customers, that we are now able to offer lower priced domains, and cheaper hosting, with better rewards, benefits and customer service.

To compensate our customers, we will be giving every customer 1 years free hosting added to there existing expiry date. All you need to do is re register an account by following this link entering your email address, select NO you are not registered. As soon as your account has been registered your existing domain(s) will be transferred to your account and new hosting applied. For those customers that benefited from our "free" hosting package, you will be upgraded to the starter package free of charge. You will receive your login details etc as before for your new hosting, and then you can proceed to re-upload your backed up content and your website will come back online.

All clan customers, who benefited from our free e107 installation and theme, we understand that you may not carry backups of your site, and unfortunately all your data will have been lost. We will reinstall your site, and chosen theme free of charge, and provide you with all the support we can to get you back up and running as quickly as possible. We will of course place you on our new top level unlimited hosting package, and again provide you with an additional 1 years hosting free of charge.

Once existing Lutonwebs customers have registered a new account, within your control panel, you will see our new support system. This is where you can communicate with us in relation to any aspects of your account. Clan customers should submit a ticket to us detailing the required theme and content required as before.

Once again we would like to apologize to all our customers for any inconvenience caused, and hope you will accept the level of compensation we are offering. Rest assured we always aim to offer outstanding support and customer service, and with new cheaper prices, a brand new image and name, your hosting experience with us will exceed all other providers.
